MAC STUDIO RADIANCE SERUM-POWERED FOUNDATION *
MAC's relatively new Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation is a radiant, long-wearing, high-coverage foundation that is ideal for dry, dehydrated, and normal skin. The formula is rich and leaves a luminous finish on the skin. It may not be the perfect companion for oily or combination skin, as it might not wear quite as long on those skin types. On dry and normal skin, however, the glow remains beautiful throughout the day and the complexion never becomes dry or heavy-looking.
Coverage is slightly above average and can be built up when needed. Even so, it is among the lighter options in this full-coverage category. Like many fuller-coverage formulas, it can also be applied very thinly if desired. The foundation creates a beautifully flawless complexion, and I recommend using a dense brush for application. I would particularly recommend this foundation if your skin is dry and prone to redness and you are looking for a full-coverage foundation.
As is typical for MAC, the shade range is extensive, with no fewer than 56 shades. My best match is NC16, a fair shade with a soft peach undertone.

SENSAI FLAWLESS SATIN MOISTURE FOUNDATION *
Sensai's updated classic Flawless Satin Moisture Foundation is also slightly more covering than medium coverage and can be built up beautifully when desired. The rich formula settles beautifully on the skin and creates a fresh satin finish. It is neither shiny nor completely matte. The foundation works well for many skin types, from dry to combination skin. As it sets, the glow softens slightly, meaning even oily skin types should not dismiss it entirely.
The skin looks flawless while the foundation still feels lightweight on the face. That is likely why it remains such a favorite among professionals. It is remarkably versatile. It can be applied very thinly while still creating an exceptionally even-looking complexion. Both brushes and sponges work well for application.
Depending on the retailer, the shade range includes eight or nine shades.

IT COSMETICS YOUR SKIN BUT BETTER CC+
IT Cosmetics CC+ is likely familiar to many people looking for a full-coverage foundation. It is certainly one of the most covering formulas featured in this article. It can be built up to completely conceal even significant redness and discoloration. At the same time, it can also be applied more lightly if desired. For maximum coverage, use a dense brush. A makeup sponge also works beautifully with the formula.
The foundation wears very well and remains beautiful throughout a long day. It is suitable for all skin types, though I cannot emphasize enough the importance of good skin preparation in this category. If you have dry skin, pay special attention to drier areas and moisturize them thoroughly before application. Powder should be used only if needed, as the foundation naturally dries down to a satin-matte finish.
There are 22 shades available to choose from.
MAKEUP BY MARIO SURREALSKIN FOUNDATION
Makeup By Mario's foundation is a rich formula that creates a flawless complexion and wears exceptionally well. The finish is radiant and fresh, making it especially suitable for dry and normal skin. On oily skin, it may not be the longest-wearing option, particularly if the skin has not been properly prepared.
The formula contains light-reflecting pigments, so it is worth shaking the bottle regularly before use. It creates an incredibly smooth and flawless complexion. The texture helps blur minor skin texture and does not easily cling to dry patches or uneven areas. The finish reflects light beautifully, making this an excellent option if you want a clearly full-coverage foundation with as much radiance as possible. The light-reflecting pigments help smooth the appearance of the skin and create a beautiful finish.
The shade range includes 30 shades. My shade is 4C. I found my match using the shade finder on the brand's own website by uploading a photo of my face. The recommendation was spot on.
LUMENE BLUR 16H LONGWEAR FOUNDATION *
Lumene Blur Foundation is an excellent choice when you want noticeable smoothing and buildable coverage. The rich, soft formula is easy to apply, work into the skin, and build up when necessary. It settles beautifully and does exactly what the name promises—it blurs uneven texture and enlarged pores. The skin appears beautifully smooth. The foundation suits many skin types. If you have dry skin with fine lines, consider applying it more sparingly to textured areas, but do not overlook it entirely. On normal, combination, and oily skin, it performs exceptionally well and stays fresh-looking even throughout a long day.
I prefer applying this foundation with a large, full brush or a sponge using tapping motions. This method brings out its best finish and buildability. Blur has been a staple in my professional kit for years and remains one of my trusted foundations.
The shade range consists of ten shades. My shade is 1.5 Fair Beige.
LANCÔME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR *
Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra Wear is a true classic and a favorite among both consumers and makeup artists. The extremely long-wearing formula promises up to 24 hours of wear, although I sincerely hope nobody feels compelled to test that claim in real life. For those seeking a foundation that withstands water, heat, and perspiration exceptionally well, however, this is an excellent option.
Once set, the finish is matte. This foundation is at its absolute best on combination and oily skin. On normal skin, I recommend layering plenty of hydration underneath. On dry skin with fine lines, it may emphasize uneven texture throughout the day. However, it is always worth remembering that coverage can be adjusted through application. Heavy layers around the mouth and eyes should generally be avoided, as they tend to settle into texture more easily. The coverage is excellent, meaning only a small amount is needed to achieve a flawless complexion.
The shade range is outstanding, with 45 shades available.
LANCÔME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR CARE & GLOW *
Lancôme has also introduced Care & Glow alongside the original Teint Idole Ultra Wear. This version also creates a flawless and wonderfully fresh finish. Despite the word "Glow" in the name, the result is not shiny. Instead, the finish is fresh and radiant before settling into a velvety matte appearance. This foundation is worth trying regardless of skin type. It remains fresh on dry skin while still feeling matte enough for many people with oily skin. Proper preparation remains important here as well.
The formula spreads easily and settles beautifully onto the skin. It offers excellent coverage and can be built up when desired, yet still feels lightweight and comfortable. The formula is also extremely long-wearing. A dense, full brush is the ideal tool for maximum coverage, while a thinner flat brush creates a lighter finish.
There are 30 shades available. My best match is 125W.
SHISEIDO SYNCHRO SKIN SELF-REFRESHING FOUNDATION OIL-FREE *
Both of Shiseido's Synchro Skin foundations earn a place in this article: Self-Refreshing and Radiant Lifting. They are very different from one another, yet I use both regularly in my professional work.
Self-Refreshing Foundation is completely oil-free, making it particularly suitable for oily skin. It also often works well for combination and normal skin. For dry skin with fine lines or surface dehydration, however, it is not the most flattering option. The foundation wears beautifully for an exceptionally long time, but on dry skin it can begin to look overly dry throughout the day. The coverage level is likely to appeal to anyone seeking an exceptionally even and flawless complexion. It is an outstanding choice when longevity and resistance to humidity and heat are priorities. The finish is distinctly matte. A small amount goes a long way, and it can still be applied lightly with a flat brush if desired.
The shade range includes an impressive 30 shades.
SHISEIDO SYNCHRO SKIN RADIANT LIFTING FOUNDATION *
Of Shiseido's two foundations, Radiant Lifting is the better option for dry and dehydrated skin. It leaves the complexion beautifully radiant and glowing while still providing excellent coverage. The result is flawless, luminous skin. I use this foundation very frequently in my professional work when I want a perfectly even complexion, a radiant finish, and maximum longevity.
It is worth paying attention to the amount applied, as the foundation provides excellent coverage even with a small quantity. As a result, the bottle lasts a very long time. The formula also builds beautifully when necessary.
The shade range is extensive, with 30 shades available. The shades I personally use are 130 Opal and 230 Alder.
